I was lucky enough to be invited along to speak at yesterday’s Nokia Ovi Developers event in London on behalf of my employers, Absolute Radio.
The main focus of the event was to run through the forthcoming Nokia N8 with developers, so I kept my presentation fairly succinct, as I was just as keen to see as much of the phone as everyone else – especially the fact it’s got a great camera, shoots great quality video, and can be quickly hooked into a HDTV. It seemed to go down well, mainly because the Absolute Radio applications are available on the four of the main mobile platforms currently available, and we’re pretty transparent about our performance on each one of them – in fact, there’s a huge amount of stats on podcasting, streaming audio etc on the company’s One Golden Square stats page.
