Security is ever more important online, and it seems users need to be ever more vigilant…
The latest exploit to make the news is a Trojan which targets ebay users. Trojan.Bayrob sends people to fake ebay pages, presumably to steal identities and to accept fake bids.
Luckily Symantec is reporting the fake servers aren’t actually serving the correct code for the fake pages to display properly, which should be a mighty big clue.

Incidentally, browsing computer magazines in a train station the other day, I noticed they recommended a free anti-virus/spyware programme as being better than the paid-for market leaders.
Whichever one you’re using, make sure it’s up-to-date, and always be skeptical
